Some minimally invasive surgeries are performed in an Ambulatory Surgery Center by Dr. Rohan, Jr. at Northwest Florida Surgery Center, which enables patients to be home later the same day. Northwest Florida Surgery Center (nwfsc.com) is a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center where procedures and surgeries are safely performed and patients are able to return home on the same day. Since opening 20 years ago, the ambulatory surgery center has treated more than 170,000 patients. The ASC features board-certified surgeons in the following specialties: Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose, and Throat), Plastic Surgery, Spine Surgery, and Pain Management. Northwest Florida Surgery Center is owned and operated by local Panama City surgeons. The surgery center is an extension of the physician's practice and gives them more control over the delivery of health care.
